Amaury Suárez Fernández.
N e was born in Cuba, in Havana on July 22, 1960. Made his first studies in painting, sculpture, drawing and printmaking at Ia Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro in Havana, where he graduated in 1980, specializing in painting. That same year he entered through competitive examination at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana in 1985 earning a BA in Fine Art and culminating his studies in painting expertise Ia.
From the same year he began his teaching, teaching color, composition and drawing at the Academy of BB. AA. San Alejandro, and a year later plays the chair of illustration and painting techniques at the Instituto Superior Industrial Design and Information View of Havana.
His work in teaching has been consistent and has the educational category of Assistant Instructor. Occasional lecturer at various events related to the visual arts, has participated as a tutor and a specialist consultant on several works of graduates of diploma schools before Cuba and abroad.
Amaury Suarez is also a specialist in Environmental Design and has excelled as an illustrator and graphic designer in the music industry. Apart from that, his work has been used as a valuable material for advertising, decoration magazines.
Since 1979 began to participate with their works in exhibitions, personal, cultural events and exhibitions both at home and abroad and in 1990 he settled permanently in Spain.
The critics from various countries echoed their statements, as an important value in the actual plastic.
His prolific career as a creator, is backed by over 20 solo exhibitions, about one hundred group exhibitions and several awards and recognitions that demonstrate a high level as a painter and sculptor in both disciplines.
